Job description / Role

– Control merchandising of products in order to optimize sales and ensure it is in line with brand image and standards
– Greet customers, offer assistance and serve them in order to ensure their needs are answered in a timely manner and in compliance with quality and customer service standards
– Communicate sales plans and targets to the Universe team, monitor performance on an on-going basis and suggest corrective actions to hierarchy when needed
– Assign routine and non-routine tasks to Sales Associates, Cashiers and Coordinators and assist in preparing the staff schedule in order to ensure that activities are carried out in the most efficient manner
– Benchmark prices with the competition and recommend price modifications in order to maintain competitiveness
– Support the Universe Manager in maintaining inventories and placing product orders to ensure effective stock management and availability of products
– Motivate team members and provide them with the necessary support in terms of training and development in order to optimize sales results
– Watch for and prevent security risks and thefts, and escalate occurring incidents to the hierarchy in a timely manner in order to avert loss
– Handle other related activities such as controlling the process of shipments reception, carrying out the end-of-day closing of the shop, collecting and reporting customers and staff comments to the Manager and other
– Monitor and identify bestselling items, limited editions and non-moving products on a weekly basis, and report on them to the hierarchy
