Job Description:
The Inflight Services department includes flight attendants and the teams that support them.
Provides leadership for base supervisors and flight attendants. Ensure accurate and comprehensive maintenance of flight attendant records and files. Assists the Base Director as needed. The manager ensures annual goals are met and participates in the performance review and evaluation process for each supervisor/staff member regularly providing coaching and feedback. The flight attendant supervisor and administrative positions directly relate to front line employee morale as demonstrated by the effectiveness of the supervisors promoting on-time performance of a clean, safe and reliable product and the continuation of our flight attendants’ superior customer service onboard. The base manager mentors each supervisor, as well as recruits and trains new supervisors.
Job Responsibilities:
- Performance – Manages the supervisory/ administrative staff at the base including recruiting, training, coaching, mentoring and performance management
- Ensure all base and divisional goals are met
- Serves as liaison with other departments; collaborates with other operations groups (Airport Operations, Flight Operations, etc.) to effectively manage on-time departures
- Provides reporting and follow-up to base leadership on performance
- Customer and Employee Satisfaction – Responsible for the Base leadership in the bases with over 2,000 flight attendants and large management teams
- Supports the base director in achieving goals in the area of safety, reliability, customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction and budgeting
- Ensures delivery of inflight and marketing products determined by the Inflight division
- Supports the recognition and counseling of flight attendants
Job Requirements:
- Three years airline experience, minimum two years supervisory.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Bachelor’s degree
- Inflight Qualified
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
