Job description / Role
Are you a Bachelor degree holder (& preferably with a teaching qualification) with a valid UAE residence visa and available to work as a TEMP High School Teacher for the Institute of Applied Technology and in our sister organization ADVETI in the United Arab Emirates from August 2020?
The institute has campuses located in the United Arab Emirates in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Western Region, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm al-Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Al Fujairah; with its directorate based in Abu Dhabi.
Candidate must be an experienced educator with teaching experience in the High school system (Grade 8-12), with a minimum qualification of a Bachelor degree in the field of Math, Biology, Chemistry, English, Computer Science, Creative Design, PE (Female candidates), Electrical Engineering & Mechanical Engineering.
Candidate should have student centered and an aptitude to work with Arab youth, committed to innovation in teaching and learning initiatives with a positive “can do” attitude and willingness to promote lifelong learning. Commitment to student centered, project based learning. A strong written and verbal communication skill in English is must. Sound understanding of technologies that support educational development especially in the current scenario.
Candidate with a valid UAE residency visa and Emirate ID, who can also submit No Objection letter from his/her current sponsor and available from Aug 2020 should apply . Candidates on visit visa or outside the UAE will not be considered. This is a Temporary position within the school system across all the campuses.
