Job Description:
As a Product Commercial Specialist, you compel our customers to love our products and the overall experience of engaging with InfraCo. Utilising your product development skills, your passion for technology and excellent customer service skills, you will create the ultimate experience and turn our customers into loyal InfraCo fans. You provide product insights, develop advanced solutions and best practice guidance, make decisions based on your commercial acumen and understanding of the market, coordinate with other departments to actively listen to customer’s concerns and support sales and operational teams to turn our business goals into a reality.
Job Responsibilities:
- Exercise commercial judgement in the development of pricing models and assumptions for customer submissions to ensure Telstra can “deliver what we sell” and “sell what we can deliver”
- Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with a broad and diverse range of stakeholder groups including but not limited to the Telstra Enterprise, Telstra Wholesale, Networks and IT, Finance, InfraCo verticals and InfraCo Fibre
- Escalate any blockers or dependencies to relevant stakeholders e.g. Principal, Product, system or process owners.
- Work closely with related InfraCo teams including Sales and Wholesale segment and other channels such as Telstra Enterprise to respond to dark fibre opportunities in a timely and efficient manner
- Use customer insights and data from opportunities in order to proactively input into the enhancement of the product & commercial strategy and product set for InfraCo’s fibre assets
- Provide visibility of any new opportunities and ensuring timely and accurate reporting on these
- Being agile to work within very tight timeframes to meet customer submission deadlines
- Work closely with Fibre Product lead to develop fibre and refine products for the Fibre vertical, including all parts of the Go to Market elements
Job Requirements:
Qualification & Experience:
- Demonstrated ability to work with ambiguity to tight timelines
- Extensive work experience in product management roles and previous experience in commercial roles
- Excellent verbal and communication skills
- Evidence of contribution towards and implementation of continuous improvement programs
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Demonstrated stakeholder engagement skills
