Job Description:
As the Secure Code Specialist, you will be part of a professional team reviewing source code and providing application security consulting expertise that enables our DevOps teams to deliver business functionality quickly and securely.
Job Responsibilities:
- Contributing to the Secure Code team’s strategy centred on enablement through access to security expertise, security automation tooling and secure code training
- Collaborating with your stakeholders including Telstra business units globally, developers, and vendors, to drive the Secure Code strategy
- Acting as a technical subject matter expert in application security testing and secure source code development
Job Requirements:
Qualification & Experience:
- Experience in rolling out an enterprise grade application security and/or secure code programs
- A passion for SDLC
- Security automation tools, especially in CI/CD context
- A strong background in application security
- Experience building, integrating and using static code analysis tools, software composition analysis tools, secrets and credential management tools, open source application security tools
