Job Responsibilities:

  • The Finance Quality Control/Audit Analyst is responsible for taking the lead on executing quality control reviews for functions within the Finance division.
  • The Finance Quality Control/Audit Analyst is expected to ensure the Quality Control program is executed in accordance with the Quality Control Methodology.

Job Requirements:

  • Assumes the lead position on a QC review
  • Executes testing of key controls in highly complex areas of the Finance division
  • Coordinates & executes quality control and/or compliance activities within the Finance division
  • Reviews Quality Control Analyst documentation
  • Assists Quality Control Manager in the planning of Quality Assurance reviews including staffing and budgets
  • Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as assigned
  • Creates manuals, reports and documents and makes updates as needed
  • Maintains strong relationships with partners and peers by sharing best practices, knowledge and leveraging experience
  • Identifies opportunities for process improvements to advance service quality and/or streamline functions
  • Recommends and implements training needs
  • Maintains and develops expert knowledge of company and/or department systems
  • Follows up on unresolved issues to ensure resolution. Contacts appropriate departments and employees to ensure completion of unfinished items
  • Contributes to a positive, ethical and respectful working environment and communicates openly with others
  • Models company culture internally and externally
  • Participates in meetings and coaching sessions
  • Keeps staff informed of any procedural changes or enhancements
  • Participates in the selection, placement and training of new team members
  • Provides support to department leadership in performing trend analysis, information gathering, performance feedback and related activities

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years related experience required (audit, quality control, regulatory reporting management, process control management)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Must be able to work flexible hours
  • Proven problem solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to work as an active participant in a team as well as independently
  • Experience in a unpredictable and fast pace environment
  • Proven ability to be detail oriented
  • Strong leadership & conflict resolution skills
  • Must be eligible for employment under regulatory standards applicable to the position.
