SERVICE DESK & SITE SUPPORT
Primary purpose of job
- Manage full ICT asset life cycle (Procurement, Deployment, and Write-off) for Desktop PCs, Notebook Computers,
Workstations, and Peripherals, to ensure maximum ROI to QP business.
- Conduct daily activities of PCs and peripheral deployment, to fulfill QP user’s computing requirement within SLA.
- Introduce continues enhancements desktop operation, by revising applied process/policies/procedures to achieve
section’s KPIs.
- Investigate 3rd level support issues as well as liaise with the different ICT teams and vendors to ensure proper incident
resolution within SLA.
- Effectively run mass deployment/replacement projects, by vendor management, effective communication with Internal ICT
teams and QP business user to ensure minimum business disruption.
- Liaise closely with ICT Governance team to establish and manage business continuity plans and activities.
- Evaluate annual QP business needs of desktop, notebook, workstations and peripherals equipment and provide inputs to
ITC budget accordingly, to ensure maximum utilization of reserved budget.
- Ensure effective and timely execution of all procurement activities (contracts, purchases and direct orders) in alignment to
QP Regulations of Purchases, Works and Auctions (QP RPWA)
- Monitor the efficiency and timely closure/implementation of cyber security controls for workstations/printers connected to
QP network and mitigate all risks identified and achieve secured computing and printing environment.
- Act as project manager when needed to ensure all tasks are tracked, fulfilled and reported in the different stages.
Experience & Skills
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering/Electronics or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years IT experience in enterprise environment (preferably in energy sector) in IT support role.
- Recognized IT Certifications is preferred (Example: CompTIAA+, MCP, MCSE, ITIL etc.)
- Excellent knowledge of the desktop technical technologies, standards and development methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft desktop solutions.
- Excellent experience in ITIL/ITSM.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Solid experience in project management.

Education
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering/Electronics or equivalent.
- ITIL certification
