Stakeholder Manager


Doha, Qatar

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage stakeholder tasks/activities during design and construction for various contract types.

  • Develop Stakeholder Management Plan for Stakeholder management team.

  • Set up Stakeholder monitoring plan to ensure permits are received timely.

  • Experience in working with Qatari stakeholders such as PWA, KME/KMW, QNBN, MME, Qatar Rail, etc.

  • Coordinate with the design teams to ensure the stakeholder issues are properly and adequately addressed during the design development process.

  • Liaise and present solutions to stakeholders while working with the relevant design teams.

  • Prepare weekly, monthly, progress reports on permits and stakeholder approval status, prepare stakeholder management reports for various stages of the project.

  • Coordinate with the construction supervision teams and contractors to ensure stakeholders requirements are addressed during construction activities.

  • Arrange meeting with stakeholders to understand the potential conflicts and issues that may arise between various stakeholder’s requirements.

  • Maintain a database of stakeholders, and their requirement as well as keeping notes and records of changing stakeholders’ requirements over time.


EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 15 years demonstrable experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent

  • Previous experience in managing stakeholder/ interface requirements for Project(s).

  • Demonstrable previous experience in establishing communication protocols to inform Stakeholders of Program and Project related activities

  • Previous experience in liaising with internal and external stakeholders and awareness of local government authority’s processes. This includes but is not limited to local municipalities, approving authorities, other infrastructure projects.

  • Must be fluent in English and Arabic, both written and spoken, with an excellent capability in written technical skills as well as oral and written communication skills;

  • Computer skills are mandatory.

  • Experience working in Qatar is required.
