Job Description

Network Support Proficiency:

Install & Configured Fixed & Moduler Routers like 1000, 1600, 2500 Series

Coordinate and configured effort to move internet access from a Frame-Relay & Leased Line connection implementation

Install and configured a multicom router implemented RIP, RAS, NAT, Dial on Demand using ISDN.

Established NAT using multicom router for multiple access like Telnet, FTP Etc.

Install and configured a catalyst 1900 switch as well as other brands of switchs and appling for cascading the switches.

Establishing on network security measured during Internet access through Firewall using Check Point Firewall.

Desktop Suport Proficiency

Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills. Strong hardware troubleshooting knowledge and exposure in all of the following environments: Servers, Desktops, Laptops, Networking Equipment and Cabling.

Diagnosis of network problems and configure the network for optimal performance.

Planning for backup and recovery of Router OS information.

Installation and Configuration of Network Operating System like Windows 2000 Server, Windows 2003 Server and Windows 2007 Server.

Installation and Configuration of Client Workstation with different operating system like DOS,Windows 9x Windows 2K, Windows XP and Windows 7.

Installation and Configuration of Microsoft Back Office Products like MS IIS, ISA & MS Exchange 2000, 2003 and 2007.

Installation and Configuration of Microsoft Office 2000, 2003 and 2007.

Maintain ISO standard forms for New User Account, Re-allocation, Hardware checkout, Equipment repair & Server Room environment forms.

Maintain Backup system devices, Backup Softwares and Daily Backups

Specialist in support RDP through various software, Teamviewer, MS RDP and Dameware.

Strong communication and customer focus skills with emphasis on end client Active Directory user account administration experience

Remote administration of Microsoft XP Professional W2k and W2k3 Server Operating Systems and VPN

Management of Microsoft’s DNS WINS and DHCP

Administration of Active Directory

Diagnosis of reported Hardware failures

Diagnosis and rectification of software related printing issues

Ensure all WAN faults reported by the customer are diagnosed and passed to the relevant agencies.
