WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
• Developing efficient, scalable home automation platforms for thousands of users
• Delivering tools and frameworks to ensure the security and stability of high availability systems
• Working with our cloud and mobile teams to implement exciting new smart home features
• Expand our multimedia offering by expanding our support for streaming music platforms
• Applying creative solutions to a wide array of challenges
WHAT YOU NEED FOR THIS POSITION
• Strong technical background with minimum 4 years of professional experience
• Solid knowledge of web services and technologies, especially REST/RESTful interfaces
• Experience with industry best practices in security, encryption, and authentication
• Experience developing software in Go preferred. C, C++, or Objective-C helpful
• Practical experience using git and typical git team workflows
• An aptitude for debugging and troubleshooting sophisticated software with multiple communication integrations
• Ability to communicate effectively with other technical resources
• B.S. Electrical or Computer Eng. or C.S. strongly preferred
• Proximity to Boston, MA or Portland, OR preferred but also open to remote applicants

Qualifications
