The Ecosystem Onboarding team’s mission is to help merchants get started with Square as efficiently and effectively as possible. The goal is to get merchants started on the right foot towards the right milestones on any platform (mobile apps, desktop web, mobile web, etc.), while providing space to explore and find new products to help them start, run, and grow their business. We open the door to the ecosystem, but our job doesn’t stop after signing up. The faster merchants experience Square’s overall ecosystem value, the better we can guide them to success.
Your day to day on the Ecosystem Onboarding team will be working on 1. the signup experience, 2. the setup experience, and 3. a system of contextual and continuous onboarding. By building a framework that allows for the rapid iteration of new ideas, you can help build a platform to enable rapid expansion into new markets.
Help build the onboarding platform on a modern Ember application
Define and document guidelines for building on the Dashboard platform
Collaborate with and support teams building on the platform
Identify and explore ways to improve application architecture, testing, and build pipeline
Continually seek to optimize the application and developer experience
5+ years of experience building web apps
Java and Ruby experience is a bonus
Experience working in a collaborative environment and partnering with other cross-disciplinary teams to achieve optimal results.
