Job Responsibilities:
- You will lead the strategic buyers professionally at various locations around the world – with a focus on rail drives – and manage the commodity team. Through joint, goal-oriented action, you will achieve the best conditions and results from the material.
- With the aim of avoiding risks and warranty costs, you create concepts for risk and contract management.
- Furthermore, you define purchasing, supplier and bundling strategies and implement them.
- In your role, you ensure strategic purchasing for electronic and electromechanical commodities for the Nuremberg location and bundle purchasing activities across locations and projects in order to achieve the best global conditions with an excellent supplier base.
- They conduct price and contract negotiations through to the conclusion of the contract and use innovative negotiation methods to guarantee security of supply at the best conditions.
- You carry out needs and market analyzes, identify, qualify and develop suppliers and expand a high-performance portfolio of preferred suppliers.
Job Requirements:
Qualification & Experience:
- You have many years of professional experience in strategic purchasing and have cross-functional experience through a project assignment in an adjacent functional area.
- The basis of your success is a completed master’s degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics or industrial engineering. Alternatively, you have completed a master’s degree in business administration and impress us with technically relevant know-how.
- You have very good commercial knowledge, technical (product) knowledge, extensive knowledge of contract law and advanced process knowledge in the field of supply chain management.
- You are characterized by very good negotiation, presentation and moderation skills and are experienced in project management.
- If you also communicate fluently in German and English, we look forward to receiving your application.
- In the best case scenario, you have already been able to collect technical management responsibility.
