Job description / Role
Charterhouse are currently handling a search, for one leading financial services client’s in Abu Dhabi, whom are presently looking to hire a Senior Specialist within Investment Diligence.
Siting within the Office of the CEO, this role will support the undertaking of risk management review and assessments, to in turn, support the Chief Risk Officer across investment appraisals and due diligence spanning a range of asset classes, financial structures and investment transactions. The coverage within this role, will span potential transactions across hedge funds, equity and debt funds, private equity and infrastructure funds; with a geared focus towards areas of financial analysis, credit risk reviews, industry trend analysis and value creation. In the support of a central due diligence committee, this role shall take ownership of the development and presentation of independent reports, to present and discuss findings, across these technical disciplines whilst proposing mitigation steps, within any potential investments, to meet both group compliance policy and risk management parameters. In conjunction, this role shall also focus towards the development of practices and tools to have oversight of areas of distressed debt, leveraged loans and corporate debt investments; whereby adequate analysis and due diligence can be introduced and rolled out to support the overall investment philosophy and appetite.
