Position Summary
• Develop and steer the economic impact assessment capability
• Develop and steer the innovation in economic development capability
• Develop and lead a portfolio of economic and impact evaluation projects, tools, and research
• Develop and lead a portfolio of foresight studies and contribute to the mega-trends development
Primary duties and responsibilities
• Economic, foresight and impact evaluation publications and projects:
• Analyze and forecast market trends, and assess the implications of these trends on various sectors
• Research, synthesize and foresight future developments that could affect various sectors
• Develop statistical and econometric models for economic forecasting
• Develop economic tools, simulators and dashboards
• Conduct economic and social impact evaluations to assess the impact, effectiveness and/or sustainability of policies and/or strategies and/or initiatives
• Collect and synthesize required data and develop synthesis of evaluation findings for conducted studies
• Assess economic and statistical data on a need-basis
• Recommend innovative policies and plans to solve economic challenges
• Lead and/or contribute to research, viewpoints, and capability building programs
• Business development:
• Review, on a regular basis, the policymaking landscape in the MENA, and work with stakeholders within and outside the company to identify potential opportunities to shape and inform publications and projects with advanced economic analysis
• Develop mechanisms to scale the economic development and evaluation projects attract clients and generate maximum revenue
• Capability development:
• Conduct impact evaluation knowledge sharing sessions and capability building sessions both to clients and to client staff
