Job Description
The Product Foundation org enables rapid iteration and innovation at Twitter scale. Product Foundation is a full stack org that serves both end users — the people who use Twitter every day — and internal product teams within Twitter. It comprises four pillars: Client Foundation (responsible for the overall UI and infrastructure of our consumer clients including iOS, Android, Twitter Lite, and Web), Core Services (responsible for the building blocks & API that power the core user experience on Twitter), Media Infrastructure (responsible for powering the sharing and consumption of images, gifs, videos, and live videos), and Product Learning Platform (responsible for gathering and organizing the behavioral information that allows product teams to learn about their customers’ needs and what features could be built to fulfill them).
What You’ll Do:
You will report to the Engineering Strategy & Operations Lead, and own and drive Product Foundation Strategy & Operations. You will partner heavily with leadership, Product Managers, Engineering Managers, Technical Leads, and Engineers. Specifically, you will:

Lead effective organizational change of strategy and operational norms, focusing on productivity and operational excellence and building alignment with the broader Engineering and Experience organization.

Reset and then drive the operational / execution cadence for the entire org in service to Company priorities.

Drive end-to-end processes aimed at improving execution, productivity, and outcomes in areas such as but not limited to: hiring, headcount tracking, budget tracking, business portfolio health, Mergers & Acquisitions, and OKR/goal tracking.

Drive and orchestrate the overall quarterly and company-wide planning processes.

Drive technical programs using your knowledge of engineering, ML, and Data Scientist roles and work.

Drive effective communications with the leadership team, and help drive the leadership-team’s accountability and follow-through.

Identify and execute ad-hoc strategic projects – everything from defining new opportunities to executing cross-functional initiatives aimed at improving how we build.

Bring key insights and trusted independent advice; service as a consultant and trusted advisor.

Overtime, grow into a trusted delegate and strategy contributor.
Qualifications
-
6+ years strategy, operations, and program-management experience preferably with 6+ years of experience in business and technical strategy and planning.

Experience developing and program-managing company-wide and organization-wide projects.

Experience working in tech, preferably companies in-between the start-up and established-company stage.

Experience in organizational change across a distributed team.
