Job Description
Our client is a solution provider in the information technology & telecommunication sectors with a focus on the following service areas: IT Infrastructure Solutions, IT Managed Services, Cloud Enablement and Data Centre Infrastructure (including on-premises, public/private/or hybrid), Carrier-grade Telecom Infrastructure, Products and Solutions, Telecom Security, Lawful Intercept, and Fraud Prevention. They are operating offices in UAE, KSA and South Africa.
Position: Senior Account Manager to be based in UAE (Dubai or Abi Dhabi)

Job Description
As a Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for the development and performance of all sales aspects in the assigned accounts. You will manage all sales activities and provide leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values, establish plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the assigned area and contributes to the development of partners. Senior connection across the UAE Federal and Local Government is a prerequisite.
Responsibilities
- Develop a business plan and sales strategy for the Government vertical in the UAE that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability
- Responsible for the performance and development of all sales activities
- Prowess in selling solutions and managed services
- Prepare action plans to generate sales leads and prospects effectively
- Initiate and coordinate development of action plans to work effectively on leads
- Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed
- Provide timely feedback to senior management regarding sales performance
- Update the CRM on a daily basis
- Maintain accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports submitted to partners and clients
- Create and conduct proposal presentations and RFP responses
- Assist Pre‐sales team in preparation of proposals and presentations
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes
- Maintain contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction
- Demonstrate ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees
Skills
Desired Skills and ExperienceProfessional Sales Hunter with strong abilities to penetrate new accountsStrong experience in selling Software Applications, Cloud and Managed Services in the UAEBA, MBA preferred or equivalent5‐7 years of experience in account sales management in the MENA regionEstablished list of senior contacts in the UAE Government verticalExtensive experience in all aspects of sales reporting systems and processesStrong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirementsProven leadership and ability to generate sales and produce resultsSelf‐motivated, strong problem solving skills, ability to analyse complex multivariate problems, and use a systematic approach to gain quick resolutionStrong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skillsMust be able to communicate technical details in a clear, understandable manner“Whatever it takes” attitude and motivation to do whatever necessary to assist in closing a dealFluency in English & Arabic language
