Key responsibilities
- Supervise Operations team and set the team objectives and KPIs.
- Ensure that the team members adhere to the timelines as per global business process measures
- Leads the team and is accountable to meet objectives
- Ensures that the workload is balanced within the team
- Ensures that suitable VMS is created and updated daily
- Has the responsibility of ensuring that all customer EDIs are released accurately, on time and matches the SOPs agreed to with the customers
- Ensures that all jobs are correctly costed and that the CM1 at a job level is positive
- Address root causes and seek continuous improvements – constantly look for ways to improve work processes by understanding and being familiar with local KPIs and act in line with set targets.
- Thinking out of the box and with focus on providing solutions.
- Ensure operational documents are updated (IOPs/ SOPs)
- Engage with GSC to ensure KPIs are met and challenges are timely resolved. Actively work together with colleagues within and beyond functions and locations.
We are looking for
- 4-5 years’ experience in logistics and services.
- Pro-active person with a service oriented mindset.
- Dedicated, decisive and result orientated with a can-do attitude.
- Likes to get it right the first time and can look ahead to avoid issues
from happening.
- Able to work under pressure while keeping quality in focus.
- Comfortable with Change Management and capable of delivering high quality before, during and after transformation.

- Comfortable with working with multiple items at the same time whilst keeping quality in focus.
- Well organized, efficient and effective.

- Fluent in English and Arabic
