Job Description:
As Product and Brand Designer you are responsible for designing products and the related experiences such as customer touch points with an end-to-end-approach and a designer’s mindset. In this role you have to have a high level of empathy, visual articulation, user-centeredness, iteration, broad thinking, and problem framing.
Job Responsibilities:
- Drive early product phases with methods in user research and customer workshops
- Support the entire product lifecycle through contributing with a user-centric mindset
- Define and deliver interaction design patterns for products
- Provide creative impulse and direction for the entire look and feel of new products and execute upon design plans
- Apply existing or create new designs and guidelines to support a harmonized experience, ranging from actual product design to marketing material such as white papers, digital representations of the brand, showcases or presentations.
- Lead visual design activities for internal and external communication for diverse projects and events
- Conduct design thinking or product vision workshops
- Engage in multidisciplinary team discussions or strategic meetings and bring your expertise to the table
- Mentor junior design colleagues
- Enhance and apply Fiori 3 knowledge
- Collaborate closely with development teams in agile environments
Job Requirements:
Qualification & Experience:
- Proven track record in communication design
- Self-driven with high delivery accountability, even when time pressure is high
- Ability to work independently and pixel-perfect
- Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree and at least 5 years of professional experience in the area of in communications design, product design or a related field
- Highly experienced in Adobe Creative Suite and related design tools
- Proactive and approachable, can-do attitude
- Good language skills in English and German are mandatory
- Loyal team player driving outcomes to new heights through collaboration
- Excellent graphic design skills and an eye for detail
- High level of creativity, conceptual strength, and strategic thinking
- Experience in prototyping with Sketch, Figma and/or similar design tools
