Job Description:
We are looking for talented individuals for our SAP HANA Performance team in Walldorf that are passionate about the performance related aspects of software development.
While we have a lot of experience with regression testing, analysis, and optimization for on premise, there is uncharted territory for SAP HANA Cloud (https://saphanacloudservices.com/hana-cloud/). SAP HANA Cloud is our database as a service offering that was launched in March 2020.
Job Responsibilities:
- Create performance regression tests and benchmarks and support developers in doing so
- Analyze and optimize existing and planned system components written in C++
- Analyze and optimize scenarios from internal and external stakeholders
- Doing root cause and explorative performance analysis in the context of SAP HANA Cloud
- Build and extend analysis tools using various technologies
- Analyze and optimize existing and planned cloud landscapes
- Build and extend test frameworks
Job Requirements:
Qualification & Experience:
- Experience in implementing and analyzing performance-critical algorithms
- Verbal and written working proficiency in English
- Basic knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design
- Ability to analyze and debug complex problems
