In this role, you’ll iterate quickly with a small but high energy team to help us continually improve our scalable SaaS solution on the SAP Cloud Platform. You’ll ensure that we use the most suitable technologies and build the right features to allow for easy and efficient exploration and analysis of our data.

Job Responsibilities:

• Use scanning and testing tools to proactively identify issues that must be raised and resolved before shipping, including licensing and security risks.
• Work together with product management, designers, data scientists, and end-users to ensure product success
• Continually improving our approach towards CI/CD and SRE topics
• Supporting the team in their cloud operation’s needs, including building, deploying, and monitoring applications and infrastructure across a variety of tech stacks

Job Requirements:

Qualification & Experience:

• Knowledge of agile software development processes and experience with development processes driven by regular code reviews
• Experience with micro-service architectures and distributed systems
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent subject
• Familiarity with monitoring tools, for example: Dynatrace, Prometheus, InfluxDB, Logstash, FluentD, and Kibana
• 4+ years of experience in software engineering
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
• Fluency in English is required – German is a plus
• Experience building applications using hyper-scaler services and PaaS environments (Cloud Foundry and SAP Cloud Platform experience is a plus)
• Effective communication skills, focusing on presentation of technical information
