The Channel Distribution team, part of Seagate’s META Sales organization, creates, nurtures and develops strategic relationships with the largest Distributors in META. To that end, the team, composed of three Distribution experts, cooperates closely with the Channel team that addresses the thousands of active Seagate resellers in region.
About the role – you will:
The Sales Manager is responsible for the Middle East, Turkey and Africa (META) region. Key responsibilities include selling Seagate HDD, SSD and Systems. This position is based in Dubai and is reporting into the EMEA Sales VP.
- The core objective of this leader is to deliver the Sales Out plan, through accurate planning, new customer acquisition and opportunities, continuously training and strengthening the team
- Need to understand the customer’s requirements and environments and be the customer advocate internally
- Must build and develop a globally consistent team capability to support Seagate’s growth
- Will build and execute growth plans for the META region
- Continuously tracking and monitoring the Sales pipeline with strategic accounts and rest of the channel
- Will work closely with several internal Business partners including Product managers, Pricing and Marketing teams, Finance and Credit collection, Support and Quality teams to ensure a successful customer experience
- Hire, coach and develop the regional Sales team
About you:
- Very good organizational, planning, analytical, and reporting skills
- Superior relationship building skills
- Initiative and can-do attitude. Proactive and positive in his/her approach to identify problems, develop and launch solutions to battle those problems
- Effectively leveraging resources inside Seagate
- Creative, able to uncover and analyze market needs, potential trends and formulate appropriate plans and programs in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment

- Excellent presentation skills
Your experience includes:
- Sales leadership roles in the META region, managing at least 5 employees for minimum 3-5 years
- Experience selling high tech hardware products and services required
- Channel experience (DMRs, Retailers, System Integrators, VARs, Resellers)
- Exceptional Partner facing/listening skills and the ability to coach the same within the team
- Extensive experience building and developing a high performing team of leaders and sales professionals
- Strong analytical skills
