Sales Executive – Job post

We are looking for an engaging sales executive to help grow memberships within our clients facility. You will report to the sales manager and take responsibility for locating prospective clients and bringing them into the fitness facility family. An executive who can appropriate solutions for every customer and help boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels and profitability. Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Generating new sales opportunities by approaching walk-ins, cold calling and networking and in doing so achieve growth and hit sales targets
  • Contacting prospective customers who have sent enquiries, and converting them to members
  • Actively seeking out new sales opportunities
  • Conducting gym tours for prospective members and suggesting suitable membership options
  • Present, promote and sell services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
  • Preparing new membership documentation, explaining terms to customers and arranging payment methods
  • Delivering consistent levels of new member sign ups to the gym
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns
  • Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections for contracts (memberships)
  • Working closely with the marketing team to leverage existing opportunities

Candidate requirements

  • Proven experience in a customer facing role – preferably sales aligned
  • Friendly and outgoing personality
  • Self-starter who can work with little supervision
  • Goal-oriented with the ability to track and achieve KPIs
  • Interest in the health and fitness industry
