Job Description
Your Impact to the Mission:
The Sales Associate will be responsible for the following:
- Hunter mentality, accountable for execution and performance of aggressive Sales Growth plan within the assigned account
- Develop leads and new prospects while supporting further growth of our existing account.
- Create sales plan and strategy that will deliver sales targets for the market of interest.
- Accurately Forecast Sales for the account and proactively prospect for new opportunities to maintain a healthy pipeline.
- Serve as the eyes and ears of the Organization by providing specific market intelligence including regulatory changes, market trends, product enhancements and emerging opportunities that will drive growth and profitability.
- Identify and participate in Industry Events and Conferences, as well as, marketing and trade journal opportunities.
- Maintain opportunities updated within centralized Salesforce system and effectively utilize full suite of tools available to support Sales activities.
- Create value through innovative ideas and approach for our customers in pursuit of growth of existing and new business.
- Achieve or exceed revenue goal and secure new business
- Generate sales leads using customer presentations and marketing skills
- Completion of RFI (request for information)/RFQ (request for quotation)’s
- Excellent communication skills with customers and internal staff
Qualifications
Experience Needed to Be Successful:
- Must have working experience with sales, and able to demonstrate the ability to increase and secure new business.
- 1-2 yrs in Sales, Customer Service experience
- Preferably familiarity with aviation marketplace and trends
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Aggressive individual to achieving sales goals
