Job Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and facilitating development opportunities within Practice, including matching colleagues to opportunities, roles and assignments based on their development needs, as well as their expertise.
  • Developing and maintaining a skills matrix, which offers colleagues transparent career pathways and a framework to assess & evidence their competency in role.
  • Facilitating knowledge transfer by moving the team from being a consumer of short-term knowledge, to industry standard, capable of meeting evolving and flexible strategic needs.
  • Partnering with Delivery and Portfolio PMO to create a holistic view of the function’s capacity, supply and demand to support Change Delivery and projects.
  • Working collaboratively with other Practice Managers to achieve consistency of colleague experience, avoiding duplication of effort and sharing best practice.
  • You’ll Practice Manage up to 30 colleagues to support the leadership team deliver both the operational and colleague-centred needs.
  • Ensuring all new recruits are onboarded and inducted consistently, ensuring they’re set up for success.
  • You will lead the performance management process and activities, ensuring the team has a culture of robust performance management, being both stretched and supported.
