Job Description:
The Production manager works alongside RI HP head of, manages production assistants and liaise daily with HP Tech team and pattern room. PM is involved with each style from concept to carrier bag. This role requires proactive thinking, understanding of factory requirements and manage RI in house buying, design and merchandise teams expectations professionally and realistically.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supporting production assistant team in daily tasks
- Attend and lead production meetings
- Communicate daily with factories
- Costing garment and negotiating make prices with factories
- Managing RI critical path of style from concept to carrier bag
- Must be able to use Excel proficiently
- Communicate daily with RI in house teams including buying, design, merch, cloth and pattern room
- Managing and maintaining company target margins
- Planning factory weekly work
- Updating buying and merch teams of any issues that could affect production delivery dates
