Job Description:
You will be responsible for QA (Quality Assurance) manual test case creation and execution for new functional changes to applications and interfaces and also for maintaining and executing regression test cases.
Job Responsibilities:
- Create and execute test cases for assigned programs/projects through the application life-cycle (functional (multi-level tests to exercise full functionality of an application under test e.g., service-level, component and UI tests) or non-functional depending on role)
- Contribute to project/program test strategies and plans and be responsible for the adoption of quality engineering practices
- Responsible for modelling system behaviors/attributes performing model optimization to improve scope and functional coverage and maintain models as business requirements change
- Partner across IT and with assigned business lines to test new or existing software in order to ensure requirements are met.
- Document and communicate test scope and working with business SMEs on knowledge transfer of system capabilities, writing detailed test scripts and test plans and ensuring the QA test cases have been verified
- Maintain a complete regression test case library for all applications in scope in the defined tools which will be automated by the test automation team to reduce manual regression testing effort for future releases
- Maximize automation for all project deliverable (functional/non-functional testing depending on role) partnering with the test automation team
- Provide feedback on quality of deliverables and escalate quality issues
Job Requirements:
Qualification & Experience:
- Experience in test case design at different levels (component/ service/APIs, integration, mobile, end to end/user scenarios) or non-functional testing (depending on role)
- Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related (technical) degree / diploma
- Experience working with various frameworks Agile or Iterative Waterfall Software Development Life cycle
- Proven experience within similar role
