Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. New vendor development and reviewing the vendor contracts for optimising risks
  2. Apply appropriate commercial review and negotiation, cost and price analysis techniques to evaluate vendor proposals and negotiate contractual terms and conditions
  3. Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Schedules/ Statements of Work (SOW) and variations for projects whilst ensuring they are aligned with the RAKC legal framework
  4. Following the Just-in-Time (JIT) process for all materials
    Thoroughly understand E-procurement and finalise all leverage materials through E-auction.
  5. Follow sustainability methods while procuring goods
  6. Participate in the strategic sourcing process, supplier selection and maintain contract repository
  7. Negotiate and purchase from both local and international vendors
  8. Monitor monthly costs and ensure that they are within budget
  9. Engage in ongoing projects to eliminate waste in the process and to meet the targeted savings
    Perform logistical coordination and implement material management policies and procedures
  10. Proactively maintain positive working relationships with internal customers and vendors alike to expedite the procurement process efficiently, effectively and in accordance with the approved policies and procedures
  11. Analyse market trends and market conditions including pricing, availability, lead time, and innovative practices
    Data Analysis of OTIF, Rejections and NPD
  12. Take initiatives to improve the total cost of ownership (TC)
  13. Act as Credit Controller:
    payment follows up to send a statement of account
    to inform the salesperson, send them statement of account as well
    as making the cheque/cash entries into the system

This is a Full-Time morning shift job.Salary vary between 3k to 6k (AED) per month depending upon skills and years of experience candidate got.
