Job description / Role
– Responsible for the day to day procurement activities involving technical spare parts, consumables, equipment, vehicles, office stationery, technical services, packaging materials & services.
– Coordinate with customers (user departments) and vendors in the purchasing scope of work for projects assigned
– Coordinate with vendors(local and overseas) to ensure on-time delivery
– Negotiate for the best purchasing package(in terms of quality, price, terms, delivery and service) with vendors and sub-contractors – except RM/Primary packaging materials
– Prepare and process purchase orders as per procedures with specifications requested by user departments
– Source alternate vendors to ensure that gets the best value for money
– Co-ordinate in inviting bids & finalizing logistics contracts with various logistics providers
– Ensure that all vendors are annually evaluated
