Patient Support Program Coordinator

The candidate will be responsible receive and coordinate requests from patients/caregivers that are eligible for enrollment and provides necessary program details to encourage adoption of habits that are conducive to a higher quality of life; helps IQVIA’s patients/caregivers to coordinate medical care and understand any medical conditions they might have; provides primarily coaching, counseling, consultation and referral services to manage various health conditions, and lifestyle behavior change; provides feedback and is involved in problem solving issues related to improved navigation through the healthcare system; and coordinates services with team.

The candidate will take management responsibility for the flawless implementation of IQVIA’s patient support program.

  • Receiving patients/caregivers who are willing to be enrolled in IQVIA’s program with consenting them and introduce them to the related program.

  • Contracting, onboarding and training targeted pharmacies on the program flow and Application.

  • Answering pharmacist calls and address their queries as applicable.

  • Reporting of Adverse Events only when received during interactions with pharmacies and patients.

  • Managing and controlling the loyalty program flow, points and verifying submitted documents

  • Generating monthly reports based on pre-agreed KPIs.

  • Maintains and improves quality results by adhering to standards and guidelines; recommending improved procedures.

  • Handling and educating patients/caregivers through phones ensuring smooth program flow.

  • Timely and accurate response to patient needs and inquiries, ensuring assistance within the required approved script.

  • Register new patients on the platform specialized for the program.

  • Submitting all patients’ complaints weather adverse event or quality complaints accompanied by assigned products of the program.

  • Develops care plans that are custom-tailored to individual patients.

Candidates interested in joining IQVIA PSP team in Egypt will have:

  • Patient support programs experience is preferred.

  • Knowledge of health-related diseases with medical background.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong motivational, convincing power and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to counsel clients of all ages, cultures and educational level.

  • Solid experience in variety of clinical techniques and medical field

  • Immense ability to develop a health plan

  • A well organized and pleasing personality with self-confidence.

  • Knowledge of latest trends in health care.

  • Strong understanding of patient support programs in the life science industry.

  • Good team-based interpersonal skills but also an ability to work independently.

  • This individual must be highly motivated, energetic, and have the desire to immerse themselves in the patients’ culture of wellness and support this culture.

In addition to the skills and experience above, candidates will have:

  • Strong academic track record including minimum of a bachelor’s degree in medical field.

  • Fluency in English/Arabic.

  • Advanced MS Office skills (Excel)
