Aldar Education is currently seeking an outstanding Parent Relations Executive (PRE) for Abdulla Bin Otaiba Charter School in Abu Dhabi for the next Academic Year 2021 – 2022.
In September 2021, ABO will be starting its 3rd year of opening. ABO follows the US Curriculum and is a large and thriving Charter School, with @ 1500 students, from KG1 (FS2) to Grade 4(Year 5). The ABO aim is to be a collaborative, student centred school, to constantly develop staff, to develop stakeholder voice and to keep evolving in our practice, so demonstrating a change agent attitude.
Successful candidates will have a ‘can do’ attitude, as life in a Charter School can be challenging at times, but equally highly rewarding, as our impact upon student learning is clearly visible every day. A sense of humour is vital too!

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain open lines of communication with existing parents throughout the year.
- Send updated notifications from the Leadership Team and teachers via email and Newsletters.
- Mange the feedback process, acting as the initial point of contact for parents to ask questions or raise any issues.
- Liaise with the school faculty to resolve these issues and keep a record of any such queries.
- Share weekly reports with the school Principal on parent feedback and ensure the escalation process and complaints procedure is complied with.
- Organize parent/community events in order to engage parents in school activities and celebrations.
- Support and advertise the school’s parent engagement activities.
- Manage and develop the school communication channels, such as newsletters, to ensure the school’s parent population is fully aware of the school’s activities as a key driver of customer/student retention.
- Undertake regular surveys of new parent views on enrolment process and other subjects of relevance.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree certificate
Minimum Experience :
- At least 2 years of experience in a customer facing role in the region.
- Previous experience in the Education sector is preferable.
Job Specific Knowledge & Skill :
- Arabic speaker is preferable with fluent English communication skills, written and oral
- Strong interpersonal skills to aid in daily contact with parents in a diverse multi-cultural environment
- Excellent office management skills
- Proficient in operating PC, Facsimile, Photocopier, Telex and various office machines, including working knowledge of prevailing popular application software and spreadsheets.
- Ability to type in English and take shorthand at the required Company rates
