Job Description:

We are looking for a Human Resources Manager to support the Converse/Nike Distribution Centers! We are looking for someone to collaborate with, and provide mentorship to, Converse/Nike Distribution Center employees and business leaders – improving our efficiency and activating growth.

Job Responsibilities:

You will participate in key initiatives and talent planning sessions to assess talent and develop strategies to address development needs, gaps and risks. You will play a key role in developing and/or executing strategies and interventions requiring organizational design, employee relations, leadership and team development, organizational change, performance management, and compliance. You will serve as a trusted partner and advisor to assigned client group, facilitate organizational change and cultivate linkage between strategic objectives and human resources activities, mentor and collaborate with leaders on matters of performance management, leadership capability, employee morale, etc. You will coach and mentor the HR Specialist, resolve employee escalations of issues as appropriate, drive critical talent initiatives to address organizational growth and talent needs and generate specific organizational interventions to support business goals and objectives.

Job Requirements:

  • Relationship management at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically while adapting quickly to an evolving environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related area
  • Strong HR Expertise & Business Insight
  • Proven Leadership & Navigation
  • Interpret/implement/administer and maintaining compliance with company policies/programs/procedures
  • Solid understanding of employment law such as federal and local state laws covering ADA, wage and hour, and discrimination
  • Critical Evaluation & Problem-Solving skills using quantitative and qualitative data
  • Demonstrable track record to drive HR initiatives that result in improved business results
  • Consultation Skills
  • Ability to artfully convey even subtle or sophisticated messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience
  • 5+ years relevant HR work experience
