We have an opportunity for eCommerce Data Scientists to join our Online Store Pick team. This is a unique opportunity for a proven Data Scientist, with “hands on” experience in building algorithms that generate demonstrable ROI, to take their career to the next level and take full autonomy of their projects. Job Responsibilities:

• Work closely with data analysts in our reporting teams, to ensure they have the access to the right “models” to answer their questions and support and guidance on when models should be used
• Engaging with cross-functional teams to understand key business requirements
• Meeting with a variety of stakeholders to discuss data project requirements and taking action from these conversations
• Being an advocate and champion for data science, talking about the tools we have available
• Working as a team to find patterns in large data sets, including the build of bespoke models which answer specific questions posed by stakeholders
• Lead the development of production ready Python code that enables us to deploy algorithms for use by colleagues and other Morrisons systems
