Job Description:
In this role, you will be responsible for creating and executing annual and long-term strategic communications plans leveraging internal and external strategies to advance the goals of the Machined Implantable, Capital & Disposables (MICD) and General Surgery & Market Access (GS&MA) Operations teams and networks within Enterprise Operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Partners with other Network comms leads to support pan-network priorities as well as coordinate and drive consistency where needed
- Translates business strategy, using storytelling to engage and inspire employees
- Also collaborates closely with the Enterprise Operations and Global Communications teams to drive consistency and coordination in messaging and approach
- Manages and executes internal communications activities that includes producing content (presentations, written communications, video, etc.) and producing employee town halls or other all-employee meetings
- Measures and reports results, adjusting communications strategy and execution as appropriate to achieve business results
- Supports priority Network programs and initiatives
- Develops and executes overall Leader and Employee comms strategy per Network
- Establishes site-level points-of-contact to drive channels and communications at respective Network manufacturing plants, supporting issues as needed
- Shapes messages and leverages appropriate communications channels to engage audiences, incorporating new technology as appropriate
- Provides strategic communications counsel to Operations Network leadership
Job Requirements:
Qualification & Experience:
- Ability to effectively manage multiple assignments at one time
- Proven ability to assert point-of-view and drive communications counsel with business leaders
- Solid project and time management skills
- Strong written and interpersonal communications skills
- Experience with Eloqua or other email marketing platforms
- Understanding of basic brand, marketing and design principles
- Ability to work proactively and independently while collaborating with colleagues at all levels of the organization
- Experience with executive communications
- Experience in global communications and across multiple audience segments
- Experience developing and driving internal communications strategies to drive change, engagement and alignment
- Experience working with and managing communications agencies or consultants
- Bachelors Degree and 7+ years of progressive responsibiity in the communications field within a Corporate, Agency or Consulting environment, or an advanced degree and 5+ years of experience
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite including PowerPoint, Teams and Yammer
- Experience working in a variety of mediums, including print, social and digital
