Manager Finance – Projects, Policies and Governance

About the role

You will be responsible for define and drive the Finance transformation strategy through cohesive dialogue and consultation with the Finance Leadership Team (FLT) and key stakeholders as well as conducting continuous reviews with FLT, to refine the transformation roadmap in line with Finance long-term strategic goals. Drive focus and momentum throughout the program of change along with the overall integrity and coherence of transformation program, prioritization of transformation initiatives, management of any inter-dependencies including oversight of project risks. Develop and maintain an environment to implement transformation initiatives i.e. increased engagement from stakeholders to drive committed outcomes and objectives thereby supporting each individual project, and support key stakeholders to secure required resources to deliver the committed strategic outcomes.


About you

You will possess:

  • A minimum of 8 years specialist of job-related experience required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid presentation skills including use of latest IT solutions to make dynamic presentation to stakeholders across the Network.
  • Strong ability to work in cross-culture environment, with teams spread across different geographies.
  • Sound understating of Internal Audit, Risk Management and Corporate Governance practices.
  • Sound knowledge and experience in development and implementation of internal controls framework.
  • Sound knowledge, understanding and experience in application of International Accounting Standards / IFRS.
  • Proven ability to constantly meet tight deadlines, ensuring quality control, and attention to detail.
  • Must have excellent organizational ability to be able to set priorities, handle multiple responsibilities/work interruptions.
  • A self-starter and have the ability to work independently with minimal instructions.
  • The ability to maintain strict confidentiality of records and information.
  • Managerial skills – Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to train and develop subordinate’s skills. Ability to foster teamwork among team members.
