Job Description:

The Senior Manager – Customer Analytics will lead a team of analysts to use data & advanced analytics practices to drive value and actionable insights to address business challenges, identify opportunities and provide recommendations. This person will work collaboratively with the other teams within MARCOM (loyalty, CRM, branding, communications) to support our business and enable growth.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of dashboards and reports and other statistical tools that will provide senior management and the broader MARCOM team with actionable insights to develop marketing strategies and tactics across markets.
  • Use data to identify tangible business drivers, prioritize KPIs, and drive optimized decision-making.
  • Interpret data to provide actionable insights with business impact and value.
  • Synthesize and communicate findings to drive business decisions.
  • Create roadmap for implementation of data and analytics strategy, including infrastructure design and development of data models
  • Lead the analytics team on conducting advanced quantitative analyses facilitating effective targeting, segmentation, and identification of opportunities around cross-sell / up-sell, retention and marketing program optimization
  • Develop and implement various types of predictive models, segmentation strategies, optimization algorithms, and data mining analyses with a targeted result of increasing revenue
  • Identify appropriate data science techniques, tools, and applications to develop algorithms – including statistics, machine learning, data and text analytics, clustering analysis, pattern recognition and extraction, automated classification and categorization.
  • Work closely with data engineering team to prioritize collection, operationalize models, and deploy solutions in an iterative, agile and integrated delivery environment for easy use of all business stakeholders.
  • Ensure alignment of procedures in accordance with the Delegation of Authority (DOA)
  • Monitor allocated budget to ensure compliance
  • Provide inputs on the preparation of budget when necessary
  • Provide inputs on cost reduction and optimization measures
  • Drive data-driven experimental methods across functions within MARCOM.
  • Support team design experiments, test hypotheses, and objectively measure outcomes using quantitative methods.
  • Responsible for key aspects along the data modelling cycle (from definition of business questions and hypotheses, to data sourcing and preparation, model development, and insight generation)
  • Visualize reports with simplicity and present insights with clarity.
  • Review analytical insights and proactively investigate root causes of aberrant data, and identify opportunities for optimization

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing , Business Administration or relevant
  • Masters in the same field is preferred
  • 8+ years in a similar position
  • 2+ years in retail business is preferred
  • Strong analytical and technical skills
  • Project management
  • Strong communicator and presentation skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
