The Localization Manager is a key role in supporting the growing need for local content requirements. You will act as the point of contact internally to implement and execute localization plan for the Oilfield Services business.

As a Localization Manager , you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the localization effort with Tawteen.
  • Driving all localization related Oilfield services initiatives to position the company stronger in commercial bids and customer reviews.
  • Liaising with all Baker Hughes product companies as needed for a consolidated localization customer discussion.
  • Leading Tawteen reviews with customer on monthly or quarterly basis as needed and act as a single focal point between customer and all Baker Hughes product companies.
  • Monitoring and drive delivering on the MoU commitment of all product companies with Tawteen.
  • Supporting in execution of OFS In Country Value (ICV) plan in coordination with all Product lines and the relevant functional stakeholders – sourcing, finance and HR for local content development plans and project execution in both Qatar & UAE.
  • Driving the ICV certification process and ensure they are completed at the required timeline to maintain valid certificates at all times.
  • Leading supplier development efforts in partnership with supply chain team and work with vendors and partners to improve their ICV score.
  • Maintaining an up to date database of suppliers ICV certificates and engage to ensure they maintain valid scores.
  • Working in close cooperation with Product Lines sales to support commercial submissions on ICV.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college. or a high school diploma / GED in addition to:
  • Have at least 2-4 years of experience in Marketing, Finance, Sales, Project Management or Supply Chain).
  • Have a Minimum of 3 – 5 additional years of experience in Strategy and Growth Initiatives.
  • Have a Fluent level of English for both oral and written.
  • Have an excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Have an excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Have the ability to influence others, lead small teams and escalate for needed support.
  • Able to lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact.
