1:1 Learning Support Assistant
About the role:
To actively promote a positive approach to learning and wellbeing in assisting and leading classroom activities and routines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspire a love of learning in all children
- Support a range of students within the school in improving their social skills, gross and fine motor skills and subject knowledge
- Lead sessions with groups of students, carefully differentiating and assessing progress
- Supervise students in class, between classes, during lunch and break times
- Assist teachers in preparing for lessons
- Effectively respond to the needs of the children by providing appropriate intervention to enable them to overcome any barriers to learning
- Ensure the classroom environment meets policy and standards for safety, cleanliness and general high standards
