Last Mile Delivery Manager – Food and Beverage

Charterhouse is working with an exciting, widely recognised Food and Beverage group which are looking to hire a Delivery Operations Manager. This role will be split between developing strategic last mile delivery plans and managing the entire delivery department including operations, leadership of a team and full accountability for the P&L.

The purpose of this role will be to optimize the efficiency of the delivery department by devising strategic plans which focus on achieving customer satisfaction whilst reducing costs to the business. Prior experience in successfully managing last mile delivery/logistics is essential due to the scale of deliveries involved and scope of the role responsibilities. This role will not only lead a service delivery team but will also work closely with the CEO and fellow heads of department to achieve the wider business objectives, including a streamlined delivery operations procedure across each brand. This role would best suit an analytical, solution driven individual, who is able to effectively lead a team and work to strict deadlines whilst managing multiple priorities simultaneously. In addition, the Delivery Operations Manager will oversee every aspect of the delivery process and will determine the company’s service measures, delivery criteria, and solutions for issues which may arise.
