KPMG Internship – Talent Analytics
Job Description:
In this newly created role, the Data Analyst, Talent Analytics will report to the Senior Manager, HR Automation and Deliver Centre, and will be a key contributor to realizing a data-driven decision-making culture in HR. The Data Analyst, Talent Analytics will use data analytics and visualization to provide accurate, consistent and meaningful talent-related insights that enable business and HR leaders to make data-backed decisions and, ultimately, better talent and business outcomes.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support the Senior Manager, HR Operation Excellence in the development and evolution of the Data-Driven Decision Making in HR strategy, including the development of the Talent Analytics operational framework
- Work with stakeholders to understand their business challenges and decisions, and provide suggestions on opportunities to implement data-driven decision making
- Define the logic and/or algorithms required to perform data analysis
- Analyze, transform, and interpret data for the development of insights, reports, visualizations, and dashboards with user experience in mind
- Act as HR lead on talent-related analytics projects for KPMG and provide thought leadership to the team on opportunities to optimize the data analysis and visualization process
- Collaborate with KPMG’s HR Technology and HR Automation & Delivery Centre teams to drive insights from HR-related data
- Able to independently review the data quality and perform data cleansing and data management skills
- Deep knowledge in analytics, statistics, data mining, machine learning, natural language processing, mathematics
- Must have experience independently managing and processing data from Excel, text, other structured and unstructured databases
- Advanced to expert-level knowledge of data visualization tools, preferably Power BI and Tableau
- Demonstrated experience with SQL
- Intellectual curiosity, analytical acumen, strong problem-solving skills
- Critical thinking, writing, presentation, attention to detail and project management skills, including time-sensitive projects
