Job Description:
We are searching for highly motivated front-end JavaScript engineers with track record of success to join our expanding team. In this role you will be a hands-on developer responsible for a team building and supporting client-side functionality for JPMorgan’s eXecute platform. You will contribute features, enhancements and bug fixes and ensure the codebase is clean, well-structured and testable. The team will work alongside our BA and UX colleagues to perform technical analysis of client requirements, participate in estimation, planning and architecture design sessions. You will be responsible for smooth development process, driving high quality output and timely issue resolution.
Job Requirements:
- Strong Computer Science foundations
- Understanding of full software development lifecycle and agile approach
- In-depth understanding of JavaScript and its idiosyncrasies
- Understanding of messaging technologies and back-end services
- Understanding of OO and functional programming paradigms
- Familiarity with Investment Banking, FinTech, or Financial Markets
Qualification & Experience:
- Expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
- Experience working with JavaScript and Typescript, React, Redux, RxJS, Yarn, Node.js
- Advanced knowledge of architecture, design across all systems
- Experience in test driven development using modern source control and continuous integration
- Experience working with numerous globally distributed engineers
- Experience in functional and non-functional test automation
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
- Experience leveraging modern frameworks, libraries, tools and languages
- Experience in building high-performance desktop/web applications
- Experience working with Electron/OpenFin, web workers and multi-process architecture
