We are looking for an individual who has proven experience of supporting the lead and running of a service. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well under pressure and meet the challenges of working to deadlines. As a Deputy Community Service manager you will support the Service Manager in developing the Service whilst ensuring that it reflects the wishes of the tenants. You will be involved in coordinating a monthly Programme of activities and be visible and accessible to tenants to offer information, help and support, or to communicate problematic or celebratory issues.
You will ensure that the needs of tenants are identified, assessed and programs of care are developed, implemented, evaluated and documented contemporaneously for caseload of tenants. You will support in managing a team of staff working within the service whilst working closely with the service manager to ensure the efficient and effective running of their areas of responsibility. Be able to recognize and notify the service manager of the need for referral to statutory bodies (e.g. safeguarding, DoLS, MHA, MCA, etc) and ensure documentation is completed as necessary. On a shift by shift basis, be responsible for minimizing the risks of infections and for the implementation of the relevant Code of Practice for prevention and control of infection. You will need to be able to work flexible hours if required to support the needs of the community Team.
