Job Description:

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Specialist is an integral part of the national marketing team. The Marketing Specialist is responsible for supporting various marketing and communications functions and will be called upon to support and drive the production of marketing initiatives for a variety of projects including; the production of e-newsletters, e-blasts, blogs, events, websites, editorials, PowerPoint presentations, brochures, articles, reports etc. The Marketing Specialist works collaboratively with cross-functional teams and liaise with external partners and agencies, including graphic design, translation and subject matter experts. The role contributes to the overall development and execution of marketing strategies and plans, with a focus on demand generation, product marketing and content marketing.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage, maintain, and participate in the development of the integrated marketing calendar and manage the content repository
  • Maintain documentation for integrated marketing campaigns and ensure they are being completed as per the work-back schedule
  • Ensure high quality and on-time delivery of multiple elements of integrated marketing initiatives
  • Support marketing initiatives to communicate and promote our brand to our clients and consumers
  • Ensure that projects are delivered flawlessly, on-time and on budget
  • Serve as liaison with cross-functional teams, ensuring commitment and clarity on all supporting campaign deliverables
  • Proofread and review produced content for quality assurance

Job Requirements:

  • Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of health care and candidates with experience working in creative or advertising agencies
  • Project management experience (with the ability to manage multiple projects at a time)
  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Solid understanding of integrating marketing
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree with a focus on, marketing, journalism, or communication
  • Experience working with cross functional teams and ability to engage and influence stakeholders
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset
