Job Description:

As a Management Accountant for Online & Supply Chain, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Commercial Finance Manager to provide timely and accurate reporting and analysis across the Online and Supply Chain portfolio – enabling the financial success of the online business and control over the supply chain costs.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assisting in other ad hoc projects, analysis and reporting for the Online business and Supply Chain
• Delivering ongoing support to the Online business and Supply Chain departments and assist in explaining what financial data means to aid with decision making
• Supporting the Commercial Finance Manager to ensure accurate financial measurement of the key cost drivers associated with Online and Supply Chain in departments undergoing significant investment, assisting in the evaluation of performance and opportunities for the business
• Preparing budgets and forecasts for the Online business and Supply Chain cost centres
• Ensuring accurate financial accounting of the Online business & Supply Chain cost centres of which encompasses month-end process, including accruals and balance sheet reconciliations as well as monthly reporting for the board and management

Job Requirements:

Qualification & Experience:

• Previous experience with budgeting and forecasting
• 2-3 years experience in a similar role – online/supply chain is beneficial, yet not essential
• The ability to manage expectations, communicate clearly and ensure that issues are escalated and managed appropriately
• The ability to build and maintain positive, productive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
• Progressive or completed CPA/CA qualification is highly desirable
• Strong time management skills with the ability to effectively priorities workload and meet deadlines
• Advanced analytical and numerical skills, as well as a strong understanding of financial metrics
