Job Description

As the FIRE Intake Specialist you would work with individuals and/or couples who are referred to Goodwill to assist them in being enrolled in the Fatherhood FIRE program. Along with being responsible for completing all initial paperwork and collecting all documentation needed for enrollment. You would be the initial point of contact for our participants.  Building rapport and developing trust will be critical aspects of this position. Also you would work closely with case manager and other program staff to ensure continuity of services. Intakes will be a mix between in-person and remote, and can vary depending on department need.

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Obtain all required and necessary client documents to determine appropriate program and eligibility.
  • Enter and modify electronic data pertaining to applicants in a central data base in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with applicants and referral sources to arrange initial intake and eligibility meetings

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and Two years relevant work experience required.
