Inside Sales Specialist

Metals company needs an Inside Sales Specialist to develop and manage new accounts by providing customers with superb service and support. You will be responsible for maintaining existing business, and growing and developing new business. 

 

·      Qualify quote requests, and respond effectively with price and delivery information.

·      Prospect new customers through lead generation, trade shows, follow-up, and cold calling.

·      Screen calls, direct activity to application engineering, maintain customer profiles, enter customer orders, schedule delivery.

·      Handle customer expedite requests, review purchase orders.

·      Keep sales force informed of customer activities.

·      Interact with customers, sales reps, and engineering personnel.

·      Recommend products, work with Accounts Receivable

 

Some college is required, four-year degree preferred. Must have at least two years of experience in inside sales, especially of metals, production services, or other manufactured products. Should be computer literate, and have knowledge of MRP and Sales Logix, or other sales software. Should have excellent order management skills, organizational skills, and be proactive with follow-up.
