Job Responsibilities:
- Design and develop innovative, company and industry impacting services using open source and commercial technologies at scale
- A self-starter with a positive attitude and willingness to drive projects to completion in a fast moving environment
- Take ownership and manage projects that vary in size and scope depending on requirements
- Demonstrated desire to innovate and develop new technology
Job Requirements:
- Demonstrated verbal and written communications skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of using Chef/Ansible to automate apps and IT infrastructure.
- Demonstrated experience with deploying and operating large scale, distributed systems
- Demonstrated analytical skills and data structures/algorithms fundamentals
- Demonstrated knowledge of Monitoring Platforms (Grafana, Icinga, Sysdig, OpenShift Advanced Monitoring)
- Demonstrated knowledge of Linux systems and container platforms (Red Hat OpenShift)
Qualification & Experience:
- Experience with a version control system (GIT preferred)
- Experience with Message Queues (Kafka preferred)
- Experience leading a team of Software Engineers
- Experience with Time Series Databases
- Experience writing automated tests or using automated test frameworks
