Job Description:
The Technology Region Management job is accountable to large Global Business / Global Function CIO and also reporting into the Country CIO US for ensuring effective delivery of IT services in the US. They are the primary relationship owner with the regional business, acting as a trusted advisor offering advice/support to GB/GF Region Business, Regional CIO, and GB/GF COO to define and assure the regional GB/GF Technology portfolio and IT service.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for providing support to US CIO when necessary on matters relating to relevant regulatory and Board relationships at regional level
- Responsible for global portfolio governance ensuring transparency over status of aligned to GB/GF global delivery into regions / countries
- Responsible for coordinating all regional/country input into the annual planning cycle
- Responsible for successful delivery of key GB/GF change programmes in region/country
- Responsible for ensuring that all regional/country demand is captured and effectively prioritised within the GB/GF global portfolio
- Consulted on execution of GB/GF strategy at regional/country level and in ensuring alignment with the country business and technology strategy
- Responsible for governing all GB/GF programme portfolio in region/country ensuring the status and impacts to time, cost and quality are reported into all regions and countries
- Responsible for delivery of GB/GF IT Transformation, Agile and DevOps adoption in region/country to realise savings as per targets in partnership with GB/GF Business and this should be done at the pace and to be consistent with the broader country agenda.
- Responsible for leading and influencing the GB/GF IT Team to meet functional goals in the region/country, and oversee delivery of the portfolio to time, cost, and quality targets
- Responsible for ensuring deliverables are supportive and in compliance with Regional/country and GB/GF target state architecture
- Responsible for collaborating with peer Regional Heads, GB/GF Business, and other senior IT Personnel to implement GB/GF goals in region within entity, policy, expense, regulatory constraints, in line with both global and country Technology strategy, priorities, and budgets

- Strong drive for innovation and digital agenda
- Strong and matured leadership skills;
Qualification & Experience:
- Advanced Degree will be an asset (Masters degree/MBA);
- Over twenty years business experience
- Prior experience as a CIO managing distributed workforce will be an asset;
