Job Description:
The purpose of this role is to provide a proactive operational and added value recruitment service to our Head Office and Distribution sites. To ensure that Holland and Barrett are attracting and recruiting the best possible talent, utilising resourcing solutions that will ensure cost focused results.
Job Responsibilities:
- Create metrics and reporting to track statistics on time to fill, costs, source of hire and make ongoing improvements
- Understand the business strategy and the impact this will have on talent. Using a creative approach to unlock talent pools of candidates and build a pipeline of engaged and talented individuals so to provide a more proactive recruitment service
- Build, develop and manage strong partnerships with recruitment agencies, role brief, print based media and job boards to ensure effective resourcing and assisting with interviews where necessary
- Commercially astute – ability to maximize ROI and responsible for negotiating with suppliers to adhere to the overall recruitment budget
- Use networks and proven direct sourcing ability to identify talent and work towards positioning Holland and Barrett as a destination employer for Head Office and Distribution roles
- A strong relationship builder you will be a credible partner to the relevant business areas, being known as the recruitment expert
- Review current recruitment processes to make recommendations and drive change and improvements
- Engage with senior business stakeholders to own, manage and drive strategic succession planning
- Manage the end to end recruitment process; working closely with hiring managers to advise and recommend recruitment solutions which are tailored to their specific needs.
- Including online advertising/sourcing of relevant candidates, managing internal applicants, managing the interview process and any other selection techniques as required

Qualification & Experience:
- Experience in direct sourcing
- Able to influence management; strong stakeholder management
- Enthusiastic, pro-active and flexible attitude to work
- Self-starter; adaptable to change; motivated
- Customer focused, with a real passion for driving service and an excellent candidate experience at all times
- Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal / written communication skills
- In-house recruitment experience in a similar role managing the entire recruitment lifestyle
- Experience in working on additional recruitment related projects
- Ability to manage multiple priorities – recruitment cycle, reporting, and candidate management
- Highly self-motivated and used to working at a fast pace
- Excellent working knowledge of an ATS
- Ability to effectively use Microsoft Word and Excel to produce reporting to track statistics on time to fill, costs, and source of hire
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills
- Good personal organization, productivity and time management skills
