Job Description:

Hobby Lobby Stores, Inc., a privately-held company based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, is looking for a qualified individual to fill a full-time Leave Representative position in our corporate Benefits Department. The position incorporates an overall knowledge of the Leave department from top to bottom. This is a full-time, hourly position and reports to the Leave Supervisor.

Job Responsibilities:

• Process Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Military, and Personal Leave of Absence request and maintain appropriate documentation to ensure compliance with company policy, federal, and state law
• Update and maintain employee leave request, records, and files
• Enter and apply employee benefit premium payments
• Process and work a variety of reports, and conduct regular audits of employees on leave
• Design and create leave communications and materials as necessary
• Respond to employee request and inquiries regarding company leave policy
• Determines if eligibility requirements are met, and issue required notifications
• Provide follow up calls or written correspondence to employees regarding required or incomplete documentation
• Responsible for ensuring FMLA compliance and tracking FMLA usage, intermittent and continuous, to ensure that employees do not exceed the amount of allotted FMLA time
• Provide education and guidance to store, district, and regional management regarding leave policy
• Educates employees and managers on proper process for requesting and placing employees on leave
