Helpdesk Technical Tier I Support – Envistacom – Manama

Job Title: Helpdesk Technician I

Job Location:

This position supports a US Military customer and may have a 24 x 7 support requirement which could include an Extended Workweek (EWW) or Shift Work during other than normal duty hours.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Sit at help desk and respond to walk-in customer questions
  • Field trouble calls via the phone and computer trouble ticketing system
  • Perform laptop imaging and basic IP troubleshooting
  • Build user accounts on the domain
  • Add and remove computers from a Microsoft domain environment
  • Assign user accounts to appropriate groups and permissions
  • Build exchange mailboxes
  • Troubleshoot user email issues
  • Troubleshoot printers and map shared printers
  • Document trouble calls and computer/network actions for reporting purposes
  • Field trouble calls via the phone and computer trouble ticketing system.

Job Requirements:
  • Associate’s degree preferred
  • Must have A+, Security+, Network+
  • Should have MCP or comparable and CCNA (or be able to obtain)
  • 7+ years experience with IT systems, 4+ years experience in IT customer support, 2 years of which are in a military requirement, OR 11 years recent specialized experience
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and a comprehensive background check
  • US Secret Clearance
